Biography

Robert B. White III is a lifelong resident of the Delaware Valley and has been a winning trial lawyer since 2002. He is a third generation attorney whose family has been collectively practicing law for over 100 years. Mr. White grew up in Cheltenham, PA and developed his sense of community and hometown pride in the Northeast Philly region. Mr. White graduated high school from Penn Charter in 1995. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Ithaca College in 1999 with a major in Politics and extracurricular focuses in Journalism and Radio Broadcasting. While at Ithaca College, Mr. White achieved the distinction of becoming the first ever member of a freshman class to be elected to the Editorial Board of the school newspaper, The Ithacan. After graduating college, Mr. White obtained his Law Degree from the Delaware Law School of Widener University in Wilmington, DE. He spent most of his 3rd year of law school working as a Supreme Court-approved student attorney for the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. He directly and personally prosecuted many in-court criminal proceedings and established his love for being in a Court Room litigating cases.

After graduating law school and passing the bar, Mr. White became a staff trial attorney for the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender. Within his first year with that office, he became a lead trial team attorney and litigated dozens of winning jury trials as a senior trial lawyer. He then expanded his legal career into private practice, becoming a civil personal injury trial attorney while also continuing to handle private client criminal and municipal defense matters. Since then, Mr. White has successfully litigated a multitude of civil and criminal jury trials. But in that same time, Mr. White also expanded, and progressively focused, his practice towards the handling of Workers’ Compensation matters for employees and laborers who get hurt and suffer injuries as a result of and in the course of their employment. For over 15 years, Mr. White has extensively represented injured workers. He has obtained millions of dollars in benefits for his clients from their employers that regularly sought to refuse to properly compensate their employees. This progressive focus in Workers’ Compensation continues Mr. White’s first and foremost goal in becoming a lawyer in the first place. Which is to represent, battle, and win for regular, hard working people who find themselves forced to have to navigate a legal system that is not inherently designed to support and truly protect them.

In his free time, Mr. White is a volunteer firefighter of over 15 years and comes from 4 generations of City of Philadelphia career firefighters and volunteer firefighters from both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is also an avid Scuba Diver and Equestrian Horse Rider
